Healthy Eating Living with Weigt Watcher Crock Pot Recipes

BARBEQUE CHICKEN

Ingredients

1 Whole Chicken

1 cup of Tomato Ketchup

3/4 cup of Brown Sugar

3 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce

Preparation

Thoroughly wash the chicken and remove any chunks of fat that you can find. Cut either side of the breast bone and then cut off the legs and wings using the natural joints. Any large pieces of breast or leg, cut in half using a large sharp knife; it helps to hit the back of the knife sharply in order to cut through the bone and cause as little as possible splintering of the bones.


Place the chicken pieces in the crockpot. Add the remaining ingredients over the chicken. Cook for 8-10 hours on Low setting or 4 hours on High setting.

If you don't have a slow cooker, you can use any oven-proof dish and use 100 Deg C for slow cooking and 300 Deg C for fast cooking. Healthy recipes doesn't mean dull, boring recipes! Healthy eating has never been such fun!
